London Fashion Week diary

It's odd how London Fashion Week was just one week ago and now I'm back in Amsterdam and have my head filled with things to do and work (all fun though). I took a lot of pictures there: it's fun to document some good memories and being able to browse through every now and then. Here is a small selection of some of the highlights of my second Fashion Week abroad.

What are you looking at?
1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11: At the My Wardrobe relaunch party, where they revealed a new look + new brands. With my London roomie Andy, Sidsel, Ilanka, Sophia, Geraldine and Sandra / 2: Screenshot from a photoshoot / 6: Photobooth fun with Cindy / 7:House of Harlow pumps that were so comfy, and made my legs so long, I didn't want to take them off. / 10: High tea at the five star Sanderson Hotel. / 12: The New York, New York party at Maddox, where I saw Alexander Wang, Alexa Chung, Henry Holland and got kissed on the cheeks by Julien Macdonald, lucky me!

Little, lovely lace suit

Last week in London, I paid a visit to the Camden based showroom of
My Wardrobe and got to try some things on for a little shoot. Soon, I had my eyes on this lace jumpsuit by Alice by Temperley. It has the fun and flirty vibe of a dress but is a little less sweet because it has shorts and a big zip in the back. Paired it with some of the most comforable heels ever, a rope belt, a tiny Muberry, et voilĂ .

Back to the future

It's just 24 hours ago that I was dancing and drinking the best Mojito's at Sketch in London, most likely the craziest club I've ever seen. Never before did I think the toilets were a cool photo location but at Sketch they are futuristic, white eggs with different sounds and light when you enter - plus a toilet, not to forget. Mine kept saying "Get ready for take off" and it felt like I was in Back to the future or something (in my case Black to the future). I was there to celebrate the re-launch ofMy Wardrobe, and they revealed a completely new and fresh website and online direction.

It was also my last day at London Fashion Week and I decided to go for drapes with my new Acne Darling dress and a Gestuz suede jacket with leather sleeves that I got to borrow and am head over heels with. I'm back home now and going straight to bed, talk to you soon!

London Fashion Week, here I come!

It's safe to say I'm a city girl. I just like 'em big and adventurous. (Which is probably why I loved visiting Los Angeles (here) so much that I'm seriously thinking about moving there for some months next year) London is one of my favorite cities in Europe; it's welcoming, energetic and speaking the language makes you instantly connected. So this new adventure I have up my sleeve is perfect, and I couldn't wait to share it with you: next week I'm flying to LONDON FASHION WEEK. Me and a few others will stay in a blogger apartment and I'm looking forward to be reunited with some of my web-friends and with my other friend; the city. Now let's figure out what to wear in advance... because last month's 25 kg's for 3 days in Florence is not something I want to do over :P

Part two

Of course my Amsterdam Fashion Week adventures couldn't be captured in just one post... so here's round two! What are you looking at? 1 & 7 Fashiolista blogger boat trip - 2, 3, 5 Supertrash show - 4, 6 & 8 (cocktails at) Ready to Fish show.

Fashion Week in a nutshell

What I wore

Leather + cotton jacket, black pants, lace ups; the fundamentals of my outfit today at Amsterdam Fashion Week. After having one of my last exams today - whoever planned that on the best day of Fashion Week had to be kidding - I raced home and got dressed in something I wouldn't nearly freeze in.
