The rare footage that you are about to see is the enchanted cascading falls of Aliwagwag. This is located along the highway of Aliwagwag, Cateel, Davao Oriental. The Aliwagwag Falls captivates me the moment I saw her. She is so beautiful. Her beauty makes me separated from my present reality for a moment. It seems that we have that precious little moments consuming each others presence unmindful of the time that passes by. I am so enchanted with her. You can feel its enchantment too when you watch this rare video footage specially mixed with the equally enchanting music of Enya entitled "Waterfalls".

Google has get paid to blog too? This was my dream just hours ago when I took my afternoon siesta. Sorry but I have to blog this. I am not trying to fool you or anybody about it. It is just a dream. But maybe somebody could get some idea out of it. Great ideas sometimes came from our dreams.
In my dream, I learned google created a get paid to blog program which is similar to PPP. Here, in this GPT program advertisers has a choice if they want their campaign to be reviewed or take the usual way via targetted adwords with adsense for content. Either way, google give bloggers a chance to earn more. And the most amazing of all about my dream was that the google pagerank was restored to all the sites and blogs that were being hit in the purging. In addition to that fantasy is that the get paid to blog program of google is exclusive only to those bloggers who uses blogspot.com.
Wow! this is just my dream okay! but as the saying goes sometimes dreams come true! Let us just cross our fingers on this. good Luck!

Get Paid to Blog
Get Paid to Blog caught me and became obsessed with it. I do not know to you guys but this kind of undertakings makes me change in terms of my sleeping habit. I have to wake up early in the morning and open my computer to look for new opportunities to write. For the reason that most of the opportunites offered are given in the morning specially Smorty and PayPerPost.
But I am doing this enthusiastically. I feel like being challenged to write spontaneously. It is like playing an online games where you have to beat all those chalenges and obstacles you encountered. And you became addictive with it.
What is good on this endeavour aside from making money from it, of course, (yes, of course! making money... and I am not going to protest about it...hehehe) is having an advantageous chance to hone your writing skills. I am not saying that I am good in writing but at least I can write and now have a chance to develop those skills. My english is not even perfect but also not bad, agree?
I will kill you if you won't agree... just joking. :) Okay, bye, bye for now... time to write an opportunity.

Quick thoughts: Loved the menswear episode. I can not imagine creating something that intricate in two days without a pattern. I thought that Jake would get in trouble for using his shorts as a pattern but that never happened. I can't believe Sweet Pea was allowed to stay. Carmen's was just as unfinished but somehow looked like she got more done, maybe it was because she had a jacket (even if it did look like a Members Only jacket). Sweet Pea's shirt was in terrible shape. I wonder if Tiki really will wear that outfit on the Today Show. hmmm!

PageRank Dilemma
Well, it seems that the whole blogosphere is talking about it. I decided to make a post about the page rank.
Some say it is just a page rank and has nothing to do with our traffic or our site's visitor. Those who worried about it are those bloggers who sell links and those who are making a paid review. Most of the bloggers who are hit by the purging are mostly doing those things. Specially bloggers who signed up for PPP. But, ironically PPP's home site has still a page rank on it, so to speak. Yet PPP even threatened to oppose PageRank by designing RealRank.
The Big G must have a second thought about implementing the purging of the PR to all undesirable sites and blogs. They must realized that they are the ones who made the PR and people just make some innovations out of it. People took it as an opportunity base on the benefits a site could get if it has a lot of links or backlinks for a higher PR. Now, they are cleaning there own mess. But, the problem is people still look for another alternatives or opportunities out of it.
PPP started Real Rank. Maybe somebody will start another innovative ideas that will benefit them out of this purging of PR. Advertising in the internet is now a multi billion dollar business. Monopolizing this kind of business is their own business. But we can not discount the fact that others are trying to at least grab a share of this multi billion dollar Pie. Hope, the lossers in the "battle for supremacy" in the advertising business will just confined to those big companies.
So, braced yourselves guys, the PageRank dilemma create a "battle of supremacy". Just hope that whatever the out come of this will be for the common good of all. And pardon me for this kind of post, I am in dilemma now! : (

Why I signed up for PPP
Why I signed up for PPP? This is the question that I am so willing to answer. Well, I signed up for PPP simply because I want to earn more money while blogging. That's it!
I tried almost every money making opportunities before which I think I could earn some bucks from them, such as pay to read, pay to click, pay to surf, and even those affiliate marketing programs like agloco. And of course, who did not tried the google adsense?
Anyways, to tell you the truth, I already became a member of PPP months ago but unfortunately my agloco blogs(not this blog, of course) were not accepted at PPP's marketplace. So, what I did, I join the PPP's affiliate program instead and install it's affiliate badge in my agloco blogs hoping that others will join PPP through my referral link. Then after I installed those badge, I forgot about it. I even forgot PPP.
However, last month or last October just right after posting a blog about the Philippines which can now received payments through PayPal, I obtain an email informing me that PayPerPost just sent $15.00 to my Paypal account as payment for someone who joined PPP through my referral link.
This development rekindled my enthusiasm to try to submit my blog again for the inclusion at PPP's marketplace. This time I submitted this blog STENTORIZED but unfortunately it was disapproved, at first. Lucky for me, somebody posted a comment in my blog post entitled "Bloopers" advising me to write an appeal to PPP Support Team to ask for a re-examination of my blog. Truely, they reviewed my blog and eventually accepted it in the PPP's marketplace.
So, now here I am doing an opportunity to get paid to blog. Hoping I could earn more. I already taken 2 opps from PPP and those posts are already approved and will be paid to me after a month. This post is only my third one. Yet, I am now in loved with PayPerPost. This is one hell of an opportunity that you will not simply ignore.

I am now a modern citizen with a camera phone! Until this weekend Paul and I have been using 4 year old cell phones with no special features. But they finally broke so we were forced to buy new phones. I hate dealing with the cell phone stores because I always feel like the sales people will try to swindle me. When they told me I had to sign up for a new plan I got all hot and sweaty. Why-oh-why can't they have a simple plan? Too many choices! I don't even know how to text message. It takes me 30 minutes just to type one word. When I told the cell phone girl this she actually gasped. The horror. Now I have to learn how to use this phone so I can take millions of photos of Toby, Stanley and Mabel. yay!

people are dumb
Today I found a dog roaming the neighborhood. At least I was dressed this time and not in my PJs like last time. I ran down the street to get him noticing a car swerving to almost miss him. I caught up with him and thankfully he had a collar with his address. I put Toby's leash on him and I found the house, about a block a away. The woman answers the door and doesn't say thank you, just takes the dog inside. I tell her that he almost got hit and she says "oh well he'll learn his lesson sometime" and then she slammed the door in my face!!OMG! I was so mad. What kind of thinking is that?! Keep your dog safe lady or don't have a dog at all. I am still fuming about it!
If Toby ever got out I would be wandering the streets crying and in hysterics until I found him again. I wouldn't be watching TV waiting for a nice neighbor to bring him back and then slam the door in her face. Oh well I did it for the dog. Not for miss mean lady. sheesh. Some people should not own animals. I don't know how Bernie deals with way worse people every single day rescuing all those dogs that she does. Yay for nice people like Bernie!

I was thinking what a zoo it must be at the malls today -- everyone in a shopping frenzy buying their Christmas presents. So I created a woman avoiding the zoo and shopping online! I had already created this image as one part of an illustration for Florida Realtor magazine for an article about blogging. So I adjusted it a little bit and viola, she's shopping on amazon.com. (notice how she's on the page for my second book)
Hope all the USAers out there had a great Thanksgiving Holiday. I am still sick and starting to get really annoyed. Going to do a little work today and then snuggle down with a book. Maybe I need more rest to kick this virus.

A few thoughts from this episode of Project Runway:It looks like Ricky will be this season's crier. He already teared up a few times. Martha and I have already started calling him "the crier" when we talk on the phone about the show. Not that I would be any better if I were on the show. If I were on the show I would be crying all the time. I don't think I could handle the stress of having to create on demand like that.
Elisa and Sweet Pea managed to pull off a really nice outfit!
Christian and Carmen got together and made an eighties Robert Palmer outfit. Did you notice that Christian and Carmen wear their hair almost exactly the same?
Victorya's outfit won. It was nice and all, but it's the same shapeless tent dress style that she created last week and in the same color (black).
It's already really good and it's only the second episode! I hope that Heidi Klum is not getting tired of doing the show so we can have more seasons. I heard that on Ellen's Show, Heidi was on and Ellen asked her about Project Runway and Heidi said "oh you know, same sh--, different season" Ugh! Way to endorse your show Heidi!

I bought this cat tree about a year ago and they love it! It goes from the floor to the ceiling (about 8 ft) and they fight over who gets to sit in the "lookout nest." Stan just got done poking Mabel for about 5 minutes in the hopes he would annoy her enough and she would leave and then he could have her spot. It worked! Just after this photo was taken, she climbed down and he jumped into her warmed-up seat!
Thanks for all the well wishes! Still coughing here. I tried Zicam 8 hour cough relief but it only kinda worked. very annoying. On the plus side, I am getting a good ab workout from all this coughing. So now I don't need to feel guilty about being too sick to do yoga.

I am still sick with this nasty virus, cold or whatever it is.
Now it has moved into the coughing stage with uncontrollable coughing fits at night. I had to spend the last couple nights in the guest room so Paul could get some sleep. All of the pets stay with Paul so then I end up all alone in the guestroom and I don't like it. I tried to get Stanley to come in with me but even he thought I was coughing too much.
My sister in-law Maria told me that her grandma used to put Vicks Vapo Rub on her feet (yes her feet!) and then put socks on when she was coughing and that it would help. It sounded weird but I thought hey I'll try it and I did and it seemed to help and at least I have soft feet now!
Yesterday I went on a cleaning spree. Whenever I am sick I feel like everything is dirty so I was like a crazy person cleaning the house. I should have probably been laying in bed but I couldn't control the urge to clean and at least I was being productive!
Today I got a decent amount of art work done and now I am really tired. I think I might have overdone it. I am off to rest! See you tomorrow!

Tattoos are endlessly fascinating and so intriguing, don't you think? The artfully done and meaningful ones especially! I don't know why but I confess that I hold a growing appeal toward tatts and am even considering getting one (But first, I've got to mull the idea over for at least a year or two...)!And since I've brought up this subject, it's impossible for me not to mention Freja Beha, my newest model crush! A rocking dark haired long legged beauty with rocking tattoos who completely steamed up the SS08 catwalks in my books. Her list of markings are growing (she's actually just got some recent additions) and she's really looking magnificent with her new short hair!

My teenage daughter has her own friendster account. And while ago, I notice her that she is dressing up her friendster's profile. I ask her what she is doing. She told me that she is embedding the codes of her favorite song. She got it from mp3-codes.com.
I immediately inform my daughter with enthusiasm that the site owner of mp3-codes is a filipino. And according to what I read from the other blogs, that site is the highest google adsense earner here in the philippines. It has an estimated earnings of more or less $30,000 U.S. per month from adsense.
So, after my daughter is finished using our only personal computer, out of curiosity, I visited that Mp3-Codes site. I am so amazed on what I saw because I notice that it has 5,361 users online. No doubt that this site is earning huge amount of money. To further my curiosity, I found out that the alexa rank of mp3-codes is 3,350. It means that among the millions of sites and blogs all over the web the Mp3-codes is placed by alexa.com as the 3,350th site in terms of traffic ranking. Wow! I feel envious... he he he well, that is normal you know!?
Anyway, after contemplating and analyzing the real reason of its great accomplishments, I concluded that one of the factors of its success is the "free codes". Mp3-Codes.com shares free codes to the more than 50 million users of friendsters. That's it! Eureka! Mp3-Codes for free spells money!
So, maybe by giving "anything" for free to the millions of internet surfers will also spells money for us. Whatever it is that is all up to you. Good Luck!

Here's my submission for Illustration Friday's theme of "superstition"

"The woman to catch the bride's bouquet will be the next to marry"
My illustration is supposed to depict the bride about to throw the bouquet but I don't know if it reads that way. I have looked at it for so long (you know when you look at a word too long and then it doesn't look like it is spelled correctly anymore) I started to worry that it might read more like she is catching it. But then I felt too sick from this nasty cold to fuss with it any more.
Never-the-less I was happy I had time and energy to make something new for IF even in my weakened and sickly state! I had fun looking up superstitions to work on this. I never realized how many are part of our daily lives!

I was too sickly to go to the Mount Dora Bark fest today but Paul went along with my mom in my place and did the judging along with her. I was sad I couldn't go, but I don't think anyone would have wanted me there coughing away. Here are some photos on my mom's blog. Very cute!

The BEST part is, we won't just be attending, we'll be judging the "competitions" along with Mount Dora Mayor-elect Melissa DeMarco and Jean Karr (Mount Dora resident who started the Mount Dora Dog Parade 14 years ago).

The first episode was a good one. I am so excited.A few thoughts:
I was a little bummed they didn't give them a more interesting challenge for the first episode. I would have liked something really difficult like the grocery store challenge from season 1.
I was sad that Simone was the one to go, she looked nice, but I figured as much, the judges hate "boring" more than they hate ugly.
Why was Victorya's big silver flower on her dress OK but Rami's flower was too "mother of the bride"?
Elisa should be interesting to watch with all her unusual sewing techniques and arty talk.
Please lordy don't tell me lamb chop sleeves are making a comeback. They all seemed to like Christian's outfit. And said how "volume" is in again. Do I need to stock up on non-shoulder padded jackets so I have something to wear?

weekend update
Paul and I had a busy weekend! I think the universe heard me complaining last weekend that I didn't get enough fun, because this weekend was loaded with fun!
Here's what I did:
• worked just a little a bit Saturday on custom artwork orders
• spent Friday with my 2nd cousin from England who I hadn't seen since I was 7 !
• went to the Magic game with Paul ( we noticed Tiger Woods sitting court side)
• watched The Station Agent (loved, loved, loved)
• ate Thai food Friday night! yay!
• went to the Festival of the Masters at Disney and the Folk Art Festival at the House of Blues
• enjoyed the perfect weather 75 and sunny all weekend. ahhh!
• now we'll watch watch The Amazing Race with our neighbors and eat chocolate chip cookies. yum!
see you tomorrow!

Horse with a Name
The picture below was taken during the barangay election last October 29, 2007. The name printed on the body of that horse run as a barangay chairman or a village leader of that place. He was using the horse as his unique way of doing his electoral campaign. He just made his supporter stroll around the village while tagging along the horse. Indeed, it worked! He won the election. Congratulations chairman.
